PODCAST

Podcasting is a form of media delivery that allows you to subscribe to a feed and automatically receive audio files of our weekend messages. 

We offer two options for subscribing to the audio version of our podcast:

• RSS Feed or,
• iTunes One-click

The RSS Feed link works well in Internet Explorer, poorly in Safari, but not in Chrome or Firefox web browsers. 

 

iTunes

The iTunes One-Click works well in Chrome, Safari and Firebox, but not in Internet Explorer.  There is also an option to "View in iTunes" which will start the iTunes application which will give you the option to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes.

The podcasts can also be found in the iTunes store.  Search for "Cornerstone Dearborn" in the iTunes store and subscribe using the iTunes application.  This will also work in mobile devices with an iTunes app.   

The iTunes application also makes it relatively simple to burn the podcast MP3 to a cdrom that can be played as an audio cd.  Normally the cdrom can only hold one or at most 2 messages.

The basic steps to burn a podcast to an Audio CD are:

 1) create a playlist for a single message  

 2) download a podcast episode

 3) add the episode to the playlist

 4) insert a blank cdrom

 5) burn the playlist to the cdrom as an Audio CD

 

Mobile Devices

For mobile devices, podcast apps are available for both Apple and Android devices.
